Textile Designer (NE India placement)
TEAR Australia is interested in hearing from a female Textile Designer who would like to work in North East India.
The Priscilla Centre is a Christian organisation based in Guwahati, working with disadvantaged women across NE Indian states providing training in tailoring, weaving and food processing. A Production Unit now exists to provide graduates with a facility to make and sell their products.
A Textile Designer is needed to work with these women to assist with new, marketable product designs and to facilitate quality control and marketing. A job description is available to download here.
