Athol was a well known activist based in Melbourne who worked on behalf of the poor, championing service and compassion as core to Christian discipleship. He was a visionary and encouraged many to follow in the way of Jesus in practical Christian discipleship. This book includes a previously unpublished study, "Good News to the Poor, Poverty and the Poor in the Bible" which Athol Gill completed just before his death.
